But still can’t get into the river. Frustrating!!! Been shooting some sporting clays and doing better but it’s eating me up not being able to use the boat. Maybe the river level will go down enough come Christmas, and I can’t think of a better Christmas present. Hope y’all had a good Thanksgiving, mine was excellent.

I’m afraid We’re in one of those transitional periods.
I’m hoping with us having some colder than normal periods this early , hopefully we’ll have a mild winter .
I waited for it to cool off some to get my boat out and it went from hot to cold and windy . Mine hasn’t been out of the garage since last fall .
Glad to hear you’re getting better. I’m with you. Haven’t fished in a month….spent everyday being involved with new house build. But good news is should close on house in 2 weeks. Then start hunt for new boat and concentrate on getting back to fishing. Got some good G2 on some good shell cracker lakes. Like you I am chomping at the bit to get back to fishing.

I know how you feel. A few months ago I had shingles, got over that then came down with COVID. Took a month with that, but got back on the water Monday and did so in a new boat. Xpress H17. Will post some pics tomorrow. I plan to go to the lake tomorrow and finish the motor breakin and fish some.
