Producing in our winter spots..
Had my buddy Ali join me on the crappie hunt this morning.. We didn't knock em dead but Ali took dinner home before heading to work and I kept 18 good eaters. Was a balmy 25 degrees when we hit the water. First fish of the day was the largest at aprox 13". 1.5" atomic orange split tails got it done both under a float and cast and retrieve. We caught fish in 10-18fow fishing 4-15ish foot down.. open water season appears to be nearing a close here in the north leaving no better time to scout first ice spots.. winter spots are producing fish.. my last 3 trips out i fished 3 or my different first ice spots and all 3 were holding. Check em while the motor can do the leg work for you.. good luck! [emoji109]Attachment 442208Attachment 442209Attachment 442210Attachment 442212Attachment 442211
