The Hill

So how’s the hill doing? Any one pulling yet? Looking to go this weekend. So if you have any information that would be great.

While striper fishing last Saturday, there were several boats pulling what appeared to be longline spreads in the SC Little river. I'd say the longline bite has started by now. FYI, the bait was thick up in there and water temps were around 55.

Well, I will say it seems the live-scopers have me at a big disadvantage right now. I worked hard this morning trying to put a mess of keeper fish in the boat and finished the morning with 22 fish, keeping 13 to feed me, the wife, Dad, and his wife. 1st time I fished this spot since last spring. Lots of bait EVERYWHERE! Big fish was a 14" male.

I assume you mean the LS guys arent trolling?

The only few LS guys I see is single pole fishing using the LS to target "a" fish. I think Tackleboat calls it "sniping".:) That's what I'd be doing if I owned LS.:)
