LAKE OCONEE 11/2/22

I fished Lake Oconee yesterday and managed to catcher 11 keeper fish. The bite was slower than it had been and the fish seemed a bit spookier. The water temperature is still in the 66-68 degree range. I had some luck using a slip cork which allowed me to keep the bait in the zone longer. In my opinion, the fish still seem to prefer minnows over plastics. I had a good day and the bite picked up about the time the Livescope battery died. It was a beautiful day. Man, I want to get out there, too, Jay - especially after watching your video. My son's getting married this weekend, then after that, I am going after a big buck I am obsessed with on my lease in Taylor county for a week. Life has priorities, I reckon.
