Went to Blackshear Monday and found few fish that were biting. We trolled the channel and concentrated on areas with trash piles. The deeper the better….we caught most in 25 foot of water trolling about 18 foot deep. Had to use #4 lead and 1/16 jigheads and trolling between .7 and .8 mph. Best colors for us were blue/chart….we caught several on pony’s. Most of the fish were white crappie. Wonderful day to be on the water with new friend Bruce….
