I've got Duracell 31 AGM's in both boats (from Sam's club). Since they're AGM's there's no water to check and do not corrode the terminals. I've had these for years and have lots of cycles on them with no issues.

Lithium is getting fairly affordable now. For a TM, I would not hesitate to buy cheap ones off of Amazon. I am running two Amped Outdoors 60AH batteries in my 24 volt system, and I have yet to run them down past 80% in a trip.
Whatever you get make sure you charge them after every trip and during the off season check them at least once a month. That more than anything else will give you the most years out of your batteries. Of course it goes without saying be sure you keep the water level to the proper level and use distilled water.

I wanted Lithium but still a little pricey for me. Went with NAPA Commercial 31. That's what was in the boat when I bought it 5 years ago and I looked at the stickers that were scratched off and the date was 2015. So I figured if they lasted 7 years before slowing down then hopefully I can get another 7 out of these. Thanks for all the suggestions!!
