Looking for Santee info (Well of course he is)
Hey, you Santee dudes. Looking at Stumphole end of Marion. I'm fairly familiar with Stumphole across from the landing, and a short distance up the river. Only have two days for a quick trip from NC Mtns with my old friend who doesn't get out much to fish. Looking for some catfish, not necessarily giants, and maybe some Shellcrackers or good Bluegill. Never had much luck down there in Fall for the panfish, just don't know where to look.
So my questions if anyone is willing to help:
Stumphole area or maybe Jack's Creek? I've heard of some Shellcrackers being caught in Jack's Creek but I've never been there & so it would be just a guess where to find Shellcrackers or where to set up to maybe get a few cats.
OR...
Up the river behind Stumphole?
Not sure where to look for Shellcrackers or Bluegills this time of year. In the spring I look in shallow water where they may be bedding.
