Well between surgery in July and healing up from it and the hot weather I finally got to spend the day out on the water. Took my daughter and her step niece on a hunt for catfish. Lots of fishing happened. Catching was a skunk lol. We did have a good day just being out together. The wind and rough water was a major inconvenience to say the least. Let’s just say I gots my Saturday shower anytime we were in motion :yikes Water temps were 69 to 71. Wind and air temp in lower 60’s most of the day. Felt cooler with all the water spray.
I did learn that my boat remodel worked dood without a major decrease in speed. Balance and handling of the old tinny was excellent. At almost 700 lbs of load weight out of 850 lbs limit she sat level in water and was very stable. The little 9.9 worked hard but preformed as well as could be expected. With the extra load it only lost 6 mph over me alone.
