I fished the Flint today putting in at Hobbs Island Rd. The fish were scattered but agreeable. 50/50 between single pole on laydowns and jig and bobber on the edges where there was shade. The Flint is clear with visibility of about 18 to 24 inches and 67 degrees. I returned numerous larger and short fish still keeping a cooler of happiness for lunch tomorrow!

I stopped and fished Ditto on my way home for a couple hours, nothing but endless short Crappie.
Nice box of fish!
Thanks for the report. Flint river is on my to do list. I've never fished it.

How was the water level? Did you have to drag any?

That means an easy paddle upstream just about anywhere, but I've never seen the lower Flint where you drag anywhere in a kayak?
was gonna put my boat in there yesterday but the ramp doesnt extend into the river and not knowing how the creek bed is there I didnt want to chance having to call a wrecker to pull me out.....Quote:
