What is normal crappie activity now?

Thinking about trying cedar creek tomorrow for the first daytime trip this year. I'll be fishing plastics only. Any suggestions on what i should try this time of year to catch them? This trying to learn on my own thing this
year without a clue has been pretty danged rough. :Rofl

They should be on the bait fish in preparation for the coming winter.

Crappie have "NORMAL"activity ?? :Rofl

Let me know if you have any luck! I’ve thought about giving it a second try. First time wasn’t very productive.
