CRAPPIEGIRL1 SAYS FISH ON!!! NOT
Normally before any storm i would be fishing. This storm IAN wow!
As i speak hubby is covering boat, lowering it on the hoist and tying up all 4 corners to the dock. Usually i am helping, but i still cannot walk with out pain even on a walker. Time keeps passing, spIne mriS studied by Mayo Clinic and anyone else i can find. Therapy was going very well for the 4th or 5th time in 6 months, then the pain--lay off now going to try it again next week if i dont blow away 1st.
March14 2022--right leg goes through rotten board on a strange walkway in Lake Harris--left leg (with knee implant from the famous jump off my boat in the gulf 2011) stays up and bends and breaks femur all the way around above knee implant (Our out of state crappie com members i was meeting the next day to fish over there, never did know what happened to me i dont think) I guess ill send them a message now that my sanity is coming back
March 14-21 Hospital in a not good floor NO surgery! Femur break left to heal on its own!
March 21-May 1 48 days--Waterman village 24 hour care and and not much therapy as my left leg will not move (not the one broken)
May1-May 6th take myself to jacksonville fl in a wheel chair van with skilled 24 hour nursing waiting on me at the Mariott near Mayo Clinic-- neither leg works.Ortho dept-- DONT GO THERE!
May 7 Shand in GAINSVILLE WHEELCHAIR AND HUSBAND--Catheter--incontinent 100 percent since fall
May 10- Advent waterman--7 days admitted
May 25th advent waterman 3rd floor admitted therapy in hospital
May 30th Begin out patient therapy
April 15 Mayo clinic Jacksonville fl
April 20 Shands
and on and on and still cannot get rid of pain or walk
June 1 HOBBLE TO BOAT ON WALKER --GET ON DOCK AND IN BOAT-LOWER BOAT-BACK BOAT OUT OF DOCK--AND AWAY I GO !!! YEA!!
The moral of this story--Be careful where you are walking on a strange dock or walkway, as even though it looks fine from on top, underneath the board could be rotten.
