Got a 10 dollar rod and reel at me wifes shop and ordered a line kit on amazon. Watched a few videos and tied some ugly flies. Went to the boat ramp today and caught one.

Congratulations! Are you hooked? My first fish was on a Wooley Booger I tied myself in 1992, I still fly fish to date.
Fly rod fishing is fun, especially when you can get on some bedding brims and bass.:)
