Worms in Crappie
Most of you know it, but there's a few that seem not to get it so I made a little video for you. These are parasites. They're very common, especially in turbid waters. They don't hurt anything if you eat them as long as you cook them. I dig them out if I see them but I don't take a lot of time trying to look for them. The grease takes care of the ones that I miss. This one was already dead when I dug it out because it had been on ice for several hours. I'm not in any way suggesting that these are harmful just putting it out there maybe something you might want to look for if you didn't know about it. By the way, what's up crappie.com it's been a long time!

I also dig them out of fillets when I see them . No telling how many were eaten after the fish hit the hot oil . Most never saw them before we started filleting our fish .:twocents

That’s why most people who sell seafood understand that deep freezing fish guarentees all parasites are dead before consuming,,,,same with deer meat or any other game
