Better Day at Louie

Returned to Louie better prepared. All motors ran great Water was clearer than the day before. Fished some submerged tops with Livescope. Probably caught 30 little ones, and enough good ones to keep it interesting. Caught 3 bass and a few gar and a couple catfish. I haven’t learned to tell fish species on Livescope yet. Ran out of shiners and tried jigs. Couldn’t make them bite a jig very well. Missed one big crappie and caught a couple little ones on jig. Tried black/chartreuse, red/chartreuse, silver, and pearl. Maybe I need Slab Sauce? Some other scent? Nibbles?
Just kept a few to eat. Did get rained, but no lightning, so umbrella kept me mostly dry. Nice to no be hot!!Attachment 436298Attachment 436299Attachment 436301
