As I was approaching the lake, stopped for a second, looked down and there was a Eastern Newt. Snapped a few pics as I seldom see them. Gills were hittin, caught a dozen or so, all around the same size. Some nice ones there, moon. We had a blowout rain on Tuesday and I’m thinking my stream might need a day more to settle down. After all this dry spell will be interesting to see what the rise in water will do.

Good pics. Don’t know if I’ve ever seen a newt and he’s pretty cool looking. Those fish would have made me very happy today, but I got a rare goose egg.
What kind of spinner is that?
Do you use spinners often with good luck? I've never used spinners at all for anything, but if they catch fish it might be worth it.
