The jig settled just a bit after it hit the water and then STOPPED settling ......
Thought it was hung on the underside of the dock as it fell within an inch of the dock ......
went to snatch it off the dock and hung it up on what I "thought" was the dock ....
walked over to reach down to get my jig back and then .....
off to the races as it realized it was hooked .....
sure enough was a fight to the finish , thought bass maybe ? carp ? buffalo ? catfish ? gar ? certain it was not a crappie ......
then it came to the top .....NOT A FISH ....
but well over 3 lbs for darn sure even without LS or a digital scale to verify said ketch ,what a lovely tall carapace it had , right shoulder like ...
sort of lacked a sense of humor though , :Rofl:Rofl:Rofl
particulars in case you feel the need to ketch one over 3 on very light tackle ....
10 fow , 1/32 yellow jig with black head , mr crappie camo 6 lb mono , Shakespeare micro 5 footer and a Shimano reel, high noon .....
someone gotta do this ya dont ya know ....:Cowboy
