Ordered a new rod

I’ve been enjoying fly fishing with a Tenkara rod lately .
I like the simplicity and super lightweight rods .
I’ve been buying mainly entry level equipment and found a rod that really interested me .
Sounds like it was made especially for me .
It’s a Dragontail FoxFIRE 280 Zoom fiberglass hybrid .
The lower sections are S-glass fiberglass and the upper three section carbon graphite.
It’s a three way Zoom rod that can be fished at three different lengths . So , like three rods in one .
Short setting is 6’6” , middle is 8’ and in the long setting 9’3” .
Looking forward to getting it and trying it out on some local gills .

The new Tenkara rod came today .
I hope to try it out tomorrow morning.
Probably visit one of my spots that have the smaller gills as this new rod having a fiberglass butt end , I think the bottom four sections. Should be great with small fish in the 6’6” position , maybe even the 8’ setting .
Did a wiggle test and the two shorter positions feel pretty good , I’m not so sure about the 9’3” long position. Made the rod feel tip heavy .
