That's a great idea. Looks good.
I thought about trying to do that with a crappie jig, leaving out the lead head. Might still do it and have already done some that are very light but sink real real slow.

Thank all of you for your encouraging messages. I enjoy creating things that I personally use. THE "Swimming Worm" was probably my most challenging creation and THE ONLY PERSON who knows how I really did it was someone on the forum who called me and said it could never be done but challenged me to try and do it. I love a challenge. hint: I started by making my own swimming worm hook from a long shank grasshopper panfish light wire hook. That will be the only hint you can pry out of my brain.
