Went fishing today with a 70% chance of rain, yea, did I mention, I got soaked, I mean soaked, well y’all already know I’m not a very smart camper, man the water was gin clear, wanted to catch a few for some crappie tacos on my new black stone, Well 15 treetops later, only caught 3 keeper crappie and 2 catfish. Don’t think that’s enough for my family to eat, so that will give me a reason to go tomorrow. :Cowboy

Yup excuse to go fishing again is awesome. Hopefully tomorrow they play nice for you.

my favorite time of the year is when we don't have bags of fish fillets in the freezer for sure .....

Just remember what didn’t work and fish a different bait. Try adding a crappie nibble to your bait even if you’re using minnows.
