Headed to Little Red River.

It has been a whirlwind of activity for me the past month….not much of it to do with fishing. Got my house ready to sell and it went on the market last Thursday morning…..by Thursday afternoon I had an offer and accepted it. Now the real work begins as I have to be out by 1 September. But before all of this I had scheduled a week long trip back in January to fish the Little Red River for trout. So I’m heading out to have a ton of fun in 100 degree plus heat for the whole 7 days I’m out there. Got all my gear ready to go. Don’t think I’ll need my waders…will just wet leg it and try to stay cool. Taking the Major Craft FineTail stream rods…the minnowing 5’ 1” and the 4’ 10” UL full glass rod. The TenRyu Rayz Spectra 6’ 1” LL. Also taking a couple of area trout rods to work a Trout Magnet during no flow which is from midnight till noon. Will have to spend a 1/2 day meeting with builder to pick brick…paints…fixtures, and so on for the house but other than that it will be all fishing. Life is good!

Thanks for the comments. Long trip out here. Stopped by my lot to meet with the builder to go over some things then to dinner and the Cabin at Cow Shoals. As you can see from the pic I had a dinner guest….LOL. Tomorrow gonna hit trout paradise.
