Man you gotta mess there, when I lived in Virginia, I had those stinking things bad. They like something in your yard to eat, find out what that is and get rid of it, good luck man. Been there done that, it a stinky deal.White Flag Icon
They like many thinks around here. Mulberries, the chickens and eggs, and lastly they have been digging up the catalpa worm grubs from frrom under the Catalpa tree. I believe I am somewhere around 7 for the year.
The dog up the grubs here and they love yellow jacket nests.
They can have all the yellow jackets they want:Rofl The little Bulldog got into them when he was a pup. They covered him up. They wore me out when I was getting them off of him
we see them under the old style street lights eating bugs frequently , had a snow white one at one place that was a real show stopper , never seen one solid white before or since .
When I live-trap one I take it down to the pond and make a Baptist out of it.
I was told by a trapper that if you lung shoot them they won't spray. Shot one with a bow from a treestand like that and it did not spray.
I have heard the same. Says they will curl up and go to sleep.
