I finally got serious about figuring out trolling jigs. Between reading a bunch here, a couple of tips from spartannation and a couple of informative YouTube videos, I had a good idea of how to get started.
I didn't light the lake on fire but I did put a few in the cooler that were just on the good side of respectable this evening. The learning is just beginning but I'm encouraged.

Glad the tips paid off. Catching crappie trolling plastics is a blast and addicting, too. WARNING: you may soon have more shapes, styles and colors of crappie plastics than you can use in a lifetime. Ask me how I know.
Practice will definitely help, but sometimes the beer after a slow day helps too :RoflQuote:
