Have an American angler for home use and will never part from that brand. Great knife and lasts forever. Have a cordless bubba for trips and love it as well but the feel isn't quite what the AA is. To me that is the biggest part of a knife, how it feels in your hand. Mister twister is a good feeling knife but never could get one last. Tried a rapala years ago and it was just too bulky and I would ruin filets...... Maybe they have changed design and worth looking into again.
All this talk about backbone has me thinking I am doing something wrong. I always cut head completely off from the start, giving me perfect line of sight to back bone, then I feel my way down it to the tail??????
