The Rumor Mill
You know those places you always hear about but have never been?????? I finally went to a fishing spot I've heard about for many many years. Not far from the house, things just never aligned to make it there. Anyway, finally just decided to go today. I will say this. I didn't get skunked. One fish probably 7" at best. Several bumps. I say one fish since I don't count bream when I'm crappie fishing. I did catch 4 of those. Anyway, I didn't check the ambient temperature but it must have been fairly hot. The water surface temperature was 96 deg F. That's definitely "Too hot to fish..." :biggrin

Definitely has been too hot to fish

the temps here are such that only the diehards will EVEN attempt to ketch much after 8 or so in the morning ....
see my guide buddies quitting by 9 am on some trips .....
but remember this , the fish don't realize we are miserable out there and still go about being fish ,just saying :highfive

Better than getting skunked. Super hot makes it difficult
