Don't they have a network port?
They do have the capabilities of added a port expander, but I'm trying to avoid purchasing one. Certain models have the ability to connect certain cables (brown and blue I believe), but it doesn't work with the UHDs. I did some more reading and believe the quickdraw is stored on the sd card, which would explain why it doesn't transfer. I will check in a few days, once I return home.
If you are connecting 2 units directly to each other, and not connecting additional units and/or Panoptix, then this is all you need I believe. Garmin Marine Network Cables (Large Connectors) | Garmin. It uses the 8 pin ethernet connectors (RJ45 plugs), but also has a fitting that screws on the back of the cradle after you plug the cable in to the cradle. Assuming you have the echomap 93uhd.
I'm running live scope on the bow and you are correct, it's the echomap 93uhd. I've been using a single SD card to transfer waypoint, so I purchased another. I think I'm going to try copying everything to a new card via PC and see if it updates. I'm not sure if I'd be able to quickdraw on both cards and combine, so I may need to simply move the card....with a spare of course, for when it goes swimming with the fish.
Gotcha... think your on the right track.
Copying the SD card to another does work. I’ll probably just continue to that in the future.
