Advice for Goose Creek Reservoir or close to Charleston

Been longlining/trolling in Goose Creek Reservoir for Crappie. Did okay couple months ago and can't seem to find them. Don't have minnows around me unless I drive 25 mins+ out of the way to get them. Been using different color jig heads, curly tail, tube, and crappie monsters along with sparkle crappie nibbles but now haven't caught them in a month. 1/16oz jigheads (sometimes double rigged) about .7-.8 mph. I can have up to 6 rods out at a time. Does anyone have any tips? Thank you in advance!

Been to Santee, haven't had any luck and GCR is 20 minutes drive vs hour+ to Santee. Trying to get crappie next to coast haha! Any other places to go and longline?

There are some bush piles in the deeper 9 to 10 foot deep holes in Goose creek reservoir as you know is above T as deep as it gets that hold fish. The upper in bridge and narrow channel should hold some fish also. Give Bushy park a look. Haven’t crappie fished it in a couple months but find the brush piles and they are usually loaded up with crappie and there are always fish in and around the deeper banks grass.

What do you mean above T?
Yeah I will probably try bushy next. Have you tried night fishing at either place? If so how did you do?

Talking into phone didn’t come out right. What l was trying to say was Goose creek reservoir only gets to 10 feet deep most of it shallower than that. My experience is Bushy park Back river and Foster creek holds much more fish. Look for structure around 20 to 25 feet deep or fish edges or deeper water grass lines.
I only single pole fish with live scope now and don’t troll. Hope this helps.

Not sure where you are at, but Coastal Bait and Tackle in Summerville has minnows.

Bushy Park is my goto place to fish. The grass makes is hard to fish shallow, so like herewego said, look for deep brush piles.

I’m over in West Ashley and I’ve heard that place is nice. Do you troll/longline? If so what size jigs do you use?

My current boat isn't set up for much other than single pole fishing. I'm hoping to go back to a traditional boat and away from my center console soon.

I don't have any fishing seats or rod holders. But could be added, but I feel my money would be better spent buying a tracker or ranger aluminum boat.
