Sunday morning Flyrod action
I got to the pond a little after 10 am and left a little after 12pm .
In between there I caught three , all on spider flies and all near the bridge , two when I first got there and the last one came when I decided to fight the sun and give the bridge area one more try.
I took one of my fiberglass rods , a white translucent 6’7” 3wt. An inexpensive, but functional machined aluminum Piscifun 3/4 reel. A 4 wt line as this rod is a little fast for glass but still has that glass feel when hooking a gill .
I’m enjoying flyrod lately .
