There are so many to choose from , crappie crappie , crappie bluegill ,crappie hybrid ......
confusing to say the least :Rofl
But the good news is even though we were told you can't ketch much before dark right now , we still managed a mere 68 between us in an hour . And mind you this ....
We spent 15 minutes figuring who what and where and then lost and or missed 20 or 30 more quite easily , even took a break to chat with my bud who said they were NOT biting ....:yikes
of course my wife said ,sure their biting , just have to put your bait really deep :highfive
So keep in mind this about that ....
1 , color DID matter , orange got bit WAY better than chart or natural
2 , we presented baits thru out the water column to find the bite
3 , tipping your jig with "something" was better than bare by a good mile....
"worms and nibbles"
4 , and most important , never think they are NOT biting , that is a frame of mind that will for sure put you in the audience and not in the show :highfive
10 to 11 foot deep in 12 foot of water and biting very lightly was the program at 2 pm in the nice hot highly windy afternoon in west Texas. :cheers2
KABOOM from the no rain part of the world ......:banghead
p.s. all fish were released to do what the fish were doing before the interruption ....:biggrin
