Sharing in time of need

I would like to share a little something. As a family group this board is a caring and supportive place.
If I put this in the wrong place please forgive.

WAITING MY TURN

Born in Love, one of three
Brother, Sister, and me
Mother, Father with Love abound
Working hard for enough around
To have, you must earn
Having to Share what there is,
So wait your turn

One by one years go past
One by one love ones pass
Some go young, others age on
Each one goes as is their turn

I sit and ponder the days I have seen
Those I have known, their knowledge I glean
Each year takes its toll
As more of us have to go.

A fleeting moment this life is home
Shortly shared, then it is gone
To lighten the weight of it we all yearn
As in all things we wait our turn.

As the time draws near, I await
My time to pass the lonely gate
For my passage I work and earn
Each day I wake, I wait my turn
