LOZ mile marker 10 area advice

Fishing LOZ for the first time this weekend. My brother bought a lake home a year ago at about mile marker 10 on the south side. Never fished LOZ and thinking pulling crank baits. I assume we will want to get off the main channel in coves but have heard of catching crappie suspended out in the main channel also. I've only been down once last Labor Day weekend and the main channel was crazy busy with large boats. We didn't get any fishing in unfortunately. Any advice of depths, methods, general areas near mm10 would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM if you would like and thanks in advance for any assistance.

Not much of an expert on trolling crankbaits, but I can definitely tell you to get up early and be back to the dock by 10 am or you will think you're in the ocean.

Find the suspended fish on your electronics start trolling. Mike Baker has some great you tubes out on crankbait fishing LOZ. By the way mm10 does not tell us much without the arm of the lake you are on. I would look for bigger coves with a creek running into them. As everyone knows the lake lice are out be careful.

All I can say is with the holiday this weekend it will be a bad (crowded and rough) and 10mm bad area (crowded and rough). Sorry

Troll crankbaits....but the water is dirty so idk how good it will be....try not to get run over by a cigar boat

this time of year being out pullling cranks isn't wise, give dock shooting off the main coves a go. it's fun and with the sun out that's where lots of them will be anyway.
