We didn't get to get out in the boat today. So to get our fishin fix, me and ole fishin partner stopped by one of the honey hole docks. Caught a quick mess of gills and could have caught even more of them with more time. Caught them on little white bucktail jigs tipped with a bit of worm under a bobber. We made them mad cause those little fighters were attacking.Attachment 426568Attachment 426569

That is a good mess, best eating fish in the lake I think.
I'm still partial to that speckled fish we all chase. But there won't be any of these left over. My 15 yr old grandson can out eat me now.... and he likes these as much as I do. lolQuote:
