Caught 16 bluegills today fishing with my panfish wiggler fly/jig tipped with crappie nibbles. Caught fish with my first 7 casts. Used my 7'3" ml rod with 8# line and 2.5# Varivas leader. Rocket bobber got the bait in the zone as the fish were cruising well off shore.
Pure awesomeness. Nothing better than to go out and get on them in a hurry
Fast start always makes the rest of the day go better, even if they quit biting.

Nice mess of gills, I like the looks of those little jigs.
Good bunch of fish, but I like the fly/jigs better. Very buggie looking and clearly they work.
I really like tying them. So many materials to try. And the gills like them!
