Out of time to learn it well....any hints will help immensely!!!

This probably isn't the right forum, but we bought a pontoon, and it has a Lowrance HDS 7 touch screen on it. I AM A HUMMINBIRD GUY, and have a few of them on my bassboat. BUT, I am taking this pontoon fishing this Thursday for a week, and would love to be able to use it. I just wired it today, and played with it a little, and am pretty impressed (and didn't mark any fish, which is a good thing because I was sitting in my driveway). BUT, does anyone want to just help out by giving me some specific settings that will make this thing useful without the headache of having to try to learn it and figure it out prior? I don't want that to sound like "cheating", and it seems easier than my HB's, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

I run Lowrance and they are pretty user friendly. There are several youtube videos that you can search to reset it. After resetting it should be kind of plug and play. I have used them right out of the box without any adjustments. Play around some when you get out there with different things like contrast, depth settings, and your overlays on different pages. Remember youtube is your friend. Hope you do well and catch plenty.
