Fished 8:00 to 4:30 fishing minnows around shallow brush. Had the poorest April results for a single day that I can remember over the years. Caught 5 crappie, 2 green sunfish a bluegill and a small bass. The male crappie were in full tux with some tail deterioration from clearing beds.
I am headed to join my my dad, brother and nephews for our annual crappie night fishing expedition under a bridge on Lake Lanier in Georgia. We have done this most years for the past twenty. We have a honey hole we return to everytime.
