Heading down to Ky/Barkley this afternoon for a few days. Just wondering what the thought is on leaving my millineum spyder locs on my boat while parked at a hotel. Don't really want to take them off but if they got stolen it would not be good.

If it were up to me I would say take them off or risk a chance that somebody else may do it for you. That goes for my electronics as well. It would not matter if it was locked or not because all locks do is keep people honest

In these times, I would suggest removing anything that could be easily stolen. Spend the extra time to prevent a compromised trip…

I’d take them off and my graphs too if at all possible. I’d take everything that you could get out of the boat easily, out. Thieves seem to be everywhere these days. A few minutes of inconvenience could save your fishing trip.
I may be paranoid but thieves are everywhere and rather be safe than sorry.

Some folks are certainly emboldened. They do not mind helping themselves to your things be it daylight or dark.
Take it all off. Never make it easy for thieves to get. I take my Garmin Echomap units off as soon as I take the boat out of the water.
I have good insurance so i leave mine on.
