First time in the boat this year.

Went to work this morning with every intention of putting in a full day. We wernt very busy and it was finally a decent day out. Left at 930 to get the boat and head to the lake. First fish was a 10 inch rainbow big fish of the day. Caught about a dozen small crappie the rest of the outing. Crappies were scattered in the open deeper water.Attachment 424604Attachment 424605

Fish in the boat is always nice. Sure beat working

the trout looks to be a brookie to me , not sure but I think it isn't a rainbow .
