1. Compass calibration beam: Mine is off even after calibrating. I'm running in forward mode. Do i possibly have a north up, course up or some other setting off? What are most everybodys general settings on the echomap uhd 93 sv with lvs 32. I tried different things but as the day went on & water got dingier my views got way worse. Thanks
- From a chart, select Menu > Layers > My Vessel > Heading Line. For picture problem make sure your ducer is mounted correctly start with default settings outside of that maybe you have a bad ducer
Maybe watch battery voltage that can play a part as well
Mine was off Thursday, not sure why. Then late it the day all was well, gremlins?
Over 16 volts so I’m good there. Garmin told me that if I didn’t have a heading sensor or steady cast that it would be off. The way I made my pvc pole with a directional indicator it doesn’t really matter but would be nice to know the exact direction you’re pointing too just by looking down & not having to raise your head. :dono Other than that I’m satisfied with it.
