He who often don't care ....
might ketch more fish them them that do .... just saying
the front came in , the wind went from well over 30 out of the south to really close to it from the north .
the temps dropped terribly and it became jacket weather just like that .
most quit trying to ketch the crappie as it really dampens their spirit (the fish and the fisher peoples too )rotfl
sure enough they went right back to winter mode in just a mere 12 hours or less .
but he who dont care ....might still be able to get them to bite ....
if he knows where to look when they depart the original pattern .
and of course one must understand the bite will change with that as well .
thumps might go away and the speed of the presentation may slow up as well .
but in the end , this time of year they will likely still bite if you can find them .
wore my crappie.com jacket to get them on board the first day ....
and went to a Berkley gulp minnow in pearl white to get them to make a move the second day .
someone asked on fakebook crappie.com if they work and the answer is like this ....
3 people on the dock , 1 ketched a sunfish , 1 ketched a baby crappie and ....
1 ketched a good number of real nice crappie , just saying .....
they didnt really want the orange much , but a gulp minnow in pearl white was way more of what was being served up in the rip some lips dept. , just saying .
both days involved the bite was less than legendary , but to be sure plenty of crappie still got ketched ....
KABOOM is the word :cheers2
