If it is galvanized I would not want to cook food in it.
seen them used by poor country folk as culverts under the driveway before , and we made bar b q pits out of 55 gallon drums , but never heard of a smoker out of one before ....:dono
I heard not to make stills out of old old water heaters. As they may have possible lead containment. But what do I know?
