The Gills are Coloring up a bit here in Texas

AND managed 2 red ears in another lake the other day in the mix as well .....:highfive
the bluegill were strong ,frisky and plump and the bite was simply as good as it gets .
in around 4 foot of water along a wind blown bank right off a heavy algae bloom that ended in a round 3 foot of water .
a few of the gills in the mix had some color coming on good .
little 1/32 jigs tipped with crappie nibbles under a small float on a 5 foot ultra lite ,good stuff :cheers2

Good report on those gills.

If my recollection is correct we won't see bluegills much until near end of April. However the green sunfish should be coming out to play in the next week or so. Thanks for the ride, Ketchn!
