Jig tying with craft fur

Hi Guys, Well the ice is not yet off the lakes here in northern Wisconsin so it's a good time to tie up some new jigs. I've always used Hareline Extra Select Craft Fur but I can't find the color purple anywhere. Does anybody have any experience using a different brand? If so, how does it compare to Hareline? Thanks for the info guys. Tight lines everyone!

I get my craft hair from Punisher Lures.

What's the advantages of using craft hair instead of hair?

I buy most of my non chenille items from Hareline and see they sell Purple so what's the problem? I can order it for you my next order if you ever want to do that?

I called Hareline, they don't sell retail. But they told me they had just shipped some to retailers so I was able to find it.

Another idea you might could do if it gets where you can't find or get craft fur... make similar using yarn.
