I have a 24v/70lb on my tracker 17ft. Works good.

If you have room for a second battery, go 24v. If you find no takers here, check with Bucks Island Marine in Southside.
I may have to move batteries to storage behind seats but it’s do~able I have been considering it for a while

I’ve stayed on a 24v 70lb MK motor for 7 hours straight without any power loss. It’s worth doing, in my opinion.
I believe you will be happier in the long run by going to the 24volt system. There are lots of ways to handle the extra battery issue. Just my two cents. Good luck to you!

I have the 12v 55 pound Terrova. It does a great job on my 18' boat. I have 2 batteries wired in parallel. When I buy another one it will be a 24v motor.
