Chomping at the bit to get back out. Haven’t had a good opportunity since December. Wind supposed to be 20-25 mph. I am going even though thats pretty gusty. Anybody else going through outdoor DT’s?

I went yesterday and Barkley has so much crap floating it's an obstacle course. Water at Eddy Creek real muddy. Not much luck a few small fish. The rest had lock jaw. Gonna try again tomorrow from a bank.

I went Friday morning. I will be back on the water in the morning
I'm venturing out .... to get my license & some new fire extinguishers. :biggrin THEN I might consider hitting a local FIN's lake, or two, just to knock the rust off my casting arm. :ThumbsUp
Went out on Taylorsville today. The water was probably the muddiest I have ever seen there personally. I felt like I was fishing in a hurricane out there wind was causing white caps in areas. Good thing was it pushed majority of debris off the lake. Seen several pleasure boaters and jet skis out too.
It still felt good to get out though me and the cuz caught 6 crappie all a little over 9 inches and a small white bass. Water temp in spots was 48-52.

Was on Cumberland Thursday. Water was 47-49 degrees and stained with a lot of floating debris. Caught 4 before cranking battery went dead and had to use trolling motor back to ramp. New battery today, will try again next week.
I was in Fishing creek on Thursday. It had been a while since I had been fishing, and as you said, I was ready to get on the water. Battery issues shortened the trip, but it has been replaced now. I usually fish from pitman creek down to wolf creek.
