Clark Hill
Me and the wife might be headed to the Hill towards the end of the week and am looking for some information.
Not looking for anybody's honey hole.
We will probably be fishing the Ga little river side.
Does anybody know if the water down that way is stained and what the temps are?
Are the fish on the Hill shallow or still out in deep water?
I don't know the lake,so any info is appreciated.
Just thought we would hit that end because we can find a motel in that area to stay at for a couple day's. I don't know anywhere to stay on the north end.
Thanks in advance.

I dont know of anything you and the Mrs would want to stay in on the upper end of the lake. There are a couple fish camps but I wouldnt stay there. Only other thing is motels in Elberton which is atleast 30 minutes from the lake and farther the further down the lake you decide to fish. Oh, forgot....you might check the Yurts in Bobby Brown Park. This would throw you right smack dab in the middle of all the good fishing spots on the upper end of Clark Hill Lake within boat riding distances. Ive heard theyre pretty nice and only $85 a nite. There's also a cabin inside the park for $100 a nite. I'd bet that you would have to book all of those a year in advance though but you could always check and see.:( Look 'em up online and see what you think!:ThumbsUp

There’s a rental cabin on Bobby Brown Rd about a quarter mile from hwy 72. I’ve had friends stay there and said it is nice. Anglers Retreat? I believe that’s what the sign says….
