I walked North..

Thursday late afternoon/evening my youngest got off work a little early, came in the shop and announced he was going coyote hunting, and I announced back...so am I;) lol .So we discussed some areas to go too,and call selection.
He wanted to used rabbit distress in the worst way. And I said its breeding season use vocals first, female Interrogation howl,pair howl,lone female howl,wait about 10 minutes between howls, then go to rabbit distress...he just shrugged his shoulders...kids huh;) Well I walked north of the farm about 2 miles set up' and got skunked, he drove his pick-up about 4 miles east set up and had one down in and down in five minutes. I was in the kitchen making supper when he came in with a smirk on his face...I asked did you see any, he said "It was just like on TV dad...it came running in at Attachment 419435Attachment 419436125 yards it stopped...bang flop" I asked rabbit distress and his smile got a little bigger no "female interrogation howl"...That made me smile.

Not the first fella to fall victim to such a call. :Rof

Sweet. Before my broken back and shredded knee coyote hunting was my favorite thing to do!!!! I still get out once in a while.
