Nimrod bite

We went out a little before noon to rebait and fish our Catfish holes. The little woman and I still caught 18 small Channel Cats. On the way in I tried a few stake beds for Crappie while she rested. Caught 10 nice ones with 2 good slabs on black/chartruse tube jigs.:D Sorry can't take and post pictures till I get this thing worked out between the camera and computor. I heard the ones trolling crank baits were catching a few nice Crappie as well a a few Catfish also.:D Slabbandit better get out there this weekend if possiable.:D

Well went out jiggin this morning. I kept 13 nice Crappie and 3 cats. Had one catfish break my line on the jig pole. Seems like the fish favored stakebeds in 6 to 9' water and were huggin the bottom.
Slabbandit and I are going in the morning to catch a few. The lake will probably get crowded tommarrow afternoon. Maybe he will post a picture if we have any luck.:D

This week we have fished 5 mornings for catfish over bait. Total catch was 111 catfish .Slabbandit and I quit fishing before 9.00 am. this morning . We kept 18 and released a couple more. David also released a nice one accidently trying to hold it up for a picture.:p He will post pictures of our catch later. :D Had intented to try the Crappie but broke the steering cable on my trolling motor first thing.:( Glad I took my Catfishing gear .:D Anyone interested in a guided trip give me a PM or look at B-n-D guide service in the forum's guide section.:D

Too bad the Fish-n-Eat didn't work out on Nimrod for this weekend. Sounds like you and SB are catchin' a lot of fish (and have the time to go as well)...

Hey CEB, I definately want to do it some time but it was not a good time for me. I fished this mornin' with NIMROD because I need to work on my boat and it was the first time that I have been on the water in almost a month. My wife has had two hospital stays since last Friday also.
Hope everyone is gettin' to do a little fishing this weekend.
