falls lake barton's creek?

I'm starting to crappie fish a little more. been doing fair at Jordan and mackintosh .
I have only fished the north end of Falls and haven't had any luck. I was thinking of trying falls maybe from Barton creek ramp. anyone got any suggestions if this is a good idea or not . and where to get minnows ? or should I just stick to Jordan?

The gas stations on hwy 98 both usually have minnows.

I haven’t been out in a few weeks, but this time of year I usually find a few in deep water, on the bottom..

thanks we are probably going to try Saturday . thinking of starting around hickers island going to try find some deep road beds . anyone fished there?
