Look pretty good!
Thank you buck. I've been trying to pay attention while fishing how the tails look wet. The maribu tails with any length flop around willienillie. Thought having something with a little spine would keep the shape a little better. I'm famous for over thinking things.
Those look good. Watching a video the other day I learned when wrapping the body with a peacock strand it makes a difference which side of the strand is face up. You will get a fuller body one way. I need to go back and watch it again to clarify which way is which.
Here ya go, all peacock with a transparent copper fleck head

Body underside is peacock herl, body top and side is the eye and the tail is peacock sword underneath and the eye fronds over top.
Have caught a lot of trout with peacock flies and jigs. I imagine they will work great in clear water with their iridescent properties and color patterns.
Good looking stuff
Lot of patience required when working with peacock herl. Watched a video where a tyer made a loop, like a dubbing loop, and braided/wound the herl through the loop to strengthen and secure it to the hook. Peacock is fragile and won't hold up well to many strikes. The iridescent color makes it a very attractive material.
