I made a comment in another thread about Woods and Water yesterday, and their shipping prices. I'm a pretty frugal fellow, and shop around to a fault. However, I'm a pretty firm believer in you get what you pay for. Secondly, I'd like to go back and say I know shipping options are pretty limited and I know that's unfair, but it was made in comparison to another supplier and their shipping prices. I received an order from Woods and Water yesterday and everything was right except one item. I got the small bag in the order rather than the skein.
I called WW and Patrick answered. I explained to him what had happened, he asked me if there was a hand written note at the top identifying whether or not he packed the box or someone else. I told him there was not. He quickly apologized for the inconvenience and told me he would correct it. Very polite, professional, and courteous. Mistakes happen, and companies like His that correct them with no hiccups are a pleasure to deal with. First "interaction" I've had with them other than transactions via their website, and I was pleased with how well it went. I feel like with the way things are these days, good customer service should be pointed out and recognized.
