I am looking for a Popeye jig mold where the hook eye comes out the nose of the ball at a slight angle and horizontally, similar to the Spittin’ image jigs. I use to buy them years ago and have recently got into pouring and tying my own jigs for the fun of it. I have checked the Do-it catalog and Hilts but can’t seem to find one online. I know I could crimp a sinker on a hook but I don’t like the shape consistency or the lead working loose. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How big would say the hook is? There are a couple molds that have the same hook profile but the smallest is 2/0. I can't even find a flat eye jig hook that looks that small.
I'm guessing maybe a #6 and 1/32 oz?

I am thinking that hook is a fly hook. something like these:

I know it doesn't help much but might give you a starting point to try and find a mold that can be modified or a custom made one.

There are other hooks I can find but 4,6 and 8 are the sizes I would probably use for the Popeye jig. I just need to find a mold.Attachment 416656

Closest I have found is teardrop or raindrop mold.
If you have several of the heads get with Bugman on here and he can make you a silicone mold of it but you'll have to match your hook and that looks like a fly hook to me

That is a Mustad 3399 fly hook. The material is chicken hackle. The mold is custom made. Be glad to answer any question I can.
